Description:
The MQ-4 is an electro-chemical sensor that varies its resistance when in contact with methane/natural gas and LP gas, the module contains an electronic circuit that allows connection to a development card, and has outputs one analog and one digital.
It is ideal for applications that seek to detect or measure the concentration of methane gas (CH4) in a range of 200 to 10,000 ppm (parts per million) in the environment, it has an analog output that allows measuring the progressive change in the concentration of gases and a digital output whose detection threshold can be adjusted. It is frequently used in methane or LP gas leak detection equipment in private or industrial applications.
