The dual channel L9110S driver is a compact module that can be used to control small robots. This little module has two independent L9110S motor driver chips and each can drive up to 800mA of continuous current.
The driver can be operated from 2.5 V to 12 V, allowing it to be used with 3.3 V and 5 V microcontrollers. A Male Header is used to connect this module to your robot's microcontroller. Motors are connected on screw terminals. This driver can also be used to control a single four phase line stepper motor. Four holes make this board easy to mount to your robot or other project.
Unlike other drivers such as the L293D and L298N, the L9110S driver only uses one source, which will be the same for power and control. Another difference is that to control the speed it does not have a specific input, so it is necessary to send the PWM pulse directly to the direction control inputs.
