The NRF24L01 is a monolithic transceiver chip that operates in the world's common ISM band of 2.4-2.5GHz. The wireless transceiver includes: Frequency generator SchockBurstTM mode controller Power amplifier Crystal amplifier demodulator modulator Output power Channel selection and protocol The SPI interface configuration can be configured with very low current consumption. When the transmit power is 6dBm in transmit mode, the current consumption is 9.0 mA. The receive mode is 12.3 mA and the current consumption mode is lower in standby mode.
