Model: MQ-5.
Gas sensor module.
The module has an electrochemical sensor that varies its resistance when in contact with LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) and natural gas; With low sensitivity to gases such as alcohol vapor and smoke, the module contains an electronic circuit that allows connection to a development card, it has an analog output and a digital one.
It is ideal for applications that seek to detect or measure an approximate concentration of natural gas and LPG in a range from 200 to 10,000 ppm (parts per million), it has an analog output that allows measuring the progressive change in gas concentration and a digital output whose detection threshold can be adjusted. It is frequently used in LPG or Natural Gas leak detection equipment in private or industrial applications.
